Take the camera into the first batch of national forest villages in the country -- Hongmo Yousheng
Recently, the State Forestry and Grassland Administration approved and announced the list of the first batch of national forest
villages in China, and Yousheng Village in Hongmo Town, Mianning County was listed.

Yousheng Village, Hongmo Town, Mianning County, in the north of Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, is surrounded by the long Anning River, which nourishes a granary plain; Backed by the yak mountain range, it has a good ecology and a large number of
ancient trees. Natural forests, collective forests and private hills form a green barrier. 75.5% of the forest coverage rate reaches the
interpretation of the concept of protecting the ecology of the whole village, and also protects the water and soil security.

Concept changes ecology

The whole village covers an area of 4 square kilometers, with seven villager groups, 1186 households and 3280 people. The total

cultivated area of the village is more than 3200 mu, which is the largest village in Hongmo Town.

Under the introduction of Xiao Peng, the village secretary, the author walked into Yousheng Village. The three sides of the village
were connected by light ditches and the water was flowing; Hardened village roads extend in all directions.

Occasionally, villagers who sit beside the village and chat under the big trees greet us warmly; In the back of the village, there is a
large area of olive oil, which is standardized, orderly and concentrated; The greenhouses are scattered around the village. The grapes
in the greenhouses are in the harvest season. From time to time, some people pick fresh grapes from the greenhouses and
enthusiastically ask for a taste. The houses in the village are scattered, the courtyard is clean, the bamboo forest is long, the ancient
trees are towering, and the eucalyptus, camphor, saponin and other trees are everywhere, which shows the villagers' thoughts and
ideas of planting, loving and protecting trees.

I don't know when the villagers of Yousheng Village have the habit of planting trees in front of and behind their houses, on the grave hill and in the cemetery. Every family has its own green plants in the courtyard, and all kinds of flowers and plants are thriving, which explains people's hard work and efforts to improve the living environment.

According to Xiao Peng, every year, especially during the fire prevention period, village cadres will be on duty all day, and carry out forest fire prevention safety publicity at all traffic intersections and every household. There has been no forest fire for more than 20 years. Especially after the implementation of the natural protection project and the conversion of farmland to forest, few people went up
the mountain, and now there is no way to go up the mountain.

We walked up a path behind the village. In order to find an ancient tree, the path had already been deserted by weeds, and the
half-human tall wild nettles would occasionally sting the exposed skin. A clear brook runs down the mountain. From time to time, the sound of birds comes out from the dense forest, but it can't be seen. Wild fruits are scattered under the forest and become the
granary of squirrels. About an hour's walk from the village, a large area of ancient trees appeared in front of us, with vigorous
branches and different shapes, covering a large area of shade. "We are preparing to build the road here and build a trail up to form
an ecological health tourism destination" Xiao Peng introduced as he walked. On the back hill about 1 hour from the village, an
ancient tree appeared in front of us, mostly shrubs, with different shapes and a sense of mystery. On the way down the mountain,
there were many chestnuts and walnuts scattered under the forest where chestnuts and walnuts intersected. We were hungry and
picked them up to satisfy our hunger. An old Yi man saw this and took out many fresh walnuts from his home to make us have a
good meal. After chatting with the old man, I learned that several children of his family are working outside. Some of them have
married and earn 60000 to 70000 yuan. They have planted more than 10 mu of chestnuts and walnuts and raised more than 20 sheep. The children will come to see him when they come back.

His pride can be seen from his interview.

Ecological change income
With green waters and green mountains, how to become golden mountains and silver mountains is the bottleneck that many people want to break.

In 2012, Yousheng Village of Hongmo Town ushered in an opportunity to turn green waters and green mountains into golden
mountains and silver mountains. Hong Kong Peaktop Group Agriculture Technology Ltd. made a comprehensive investigation in
Mianning County to find a place with below 3 degrees in winter, more than 1600 hours of sunshine and no snow. Finally, it selected
Yousheng Village of Hongmo Town, a place with more than 2100 hours of sunshine and less rainfall to plant olive and registered to
establish Mianning Peaktop Agriculture Technology  Ltd.

Under the leadership of the county party committee and government, adhere to the principle of taking farmers as the main body and enterprises as the leading, adopt the stock cooperation mode of "company+base+farmers", "company+farmers' professional
cooperatives+farmers" and "company+land equity" to plant olive, promote the scale and regional development, and build a 10700
mu olive demonstration base in Hongmo Town, which has attracted attention and scientific research at home and abroad.

On October 23, 2016, the "Olive Experimental Demonstration Base of the Forestry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of
Forestry Sciences" was established in Yousheng Village, marking that the olive base here has become the "back garden" of the
scientific research project of the Chinese Academy of Forestry Sciences, which will greatly promote the development of the olive
industry in Mianning County and even the whole Liangshan Prefecture.

According to Zhang Jianguo, director of the Forestry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry Sciences, the production
and consumption of olive oil in the world has reached 3 million tons in the past two years, showing an imbalance between production and demand. Although China has developed olives for 50 years, it has increased year by year in recent years. The existing planting area is more than 1 million mu, and the production of olive oil is about 5000 tons. Last year, 50000 tons of olive oil were imported, and
the demand is far greater than the supply. It shows that China has great potential to develop olive oil. With the continuous
improvement of people's living standards, the demand will increase, and it is estimated that it will reach 100000 to 150000 tons in the next five years. Liangshan Prefecture will focus on promoting this industry and incorporate it into the overall agricultural development plan. It is mainly planted in Mianning, Xichang, Huili, Xide and other counties and cities. The Institute of Forestry of the Chinese
Academy of Forestry has established olive experimental demonstration base here, which is of great significance to further promote
the development of Liangshan olive industry.

This new characteristic ecological industry undoubtedly promotes the development of olive industry in Mianning County and
Liangshan Prefecture. It also injected a "tonic" into the development of forestry industry and the building of forest villages in
Yousheng Village.

"Our village has planted 1600 mu of olive oil on 3200 mu of arable land, benefiting 740 farmers in the whole village, solving about 21000 labor and increasing farmers' income by more than 1.4 million yuan every year, which not only makes our village's land and
traditional agriculture more than doubled, but also provides more labor and employment opportunities. Villagers can earn pocket
money and subsidize their families at home. Now, the new garden olive deep processing plant covers an area of more than 30 mu,
Now it has been completed and put into production. The completion of the new factory has further boosted the development
momentum of our village, "Xiao Peng said while walking.

At present, a 10000-mu olive demonstration base has been formed in Hongmo Town, which is the largest area base for olive
cultivation in a single continuous area in the country.

Income changes development
Constantly enhance the endogenous and external vitality of development, take enhancing the income of the masses and improving
the quality of life of the masses as the core, focus on the development of industrial characteristics and picturesque environment as
the main line, build a solid industrial foundation, combine the opportunity of the characteristic forest town of Hongmo Town, create
an ecological and livable environment, build a rural civilization system, integrate with agriculture and tourism, and make full use of
olive industrial park, kiwi planting demonstration park The development mode of ecological industry advantages such as
characteristic fruit planting is the development idea of Yousheng Village.

The author sees that no matter who goes into any house, there are several fruit trees in the courtyard, some are full of fruit, some
have become natural melon racks, and some have fish ponds and other landscapes in the courtyard; The grapes are being harvested
in the greenhouse. Seeing us coming, they warmly asked us to taste them.

The village has planted more than 180 mu of kiwi fruit, which is more than 1 meter high, and is pulling branches to shape; More than 70 mu of grape industry; The breeding professional cooperative has more than 2400 pigs on hand and more than 6200 pigs annually, with an output value of more than 12 million. A number of characteristic industries integrating leisure and sightseeing, such as village homestay, farmhouse entertainment, family farm, have achieved initial results.

A happy and beautiful new village with "agriculture as the scenery, scenery as the guide, tourism as the prosperity of agriculture, and agriculture as the promotion of tourism" is rising!

An ecological and livable village highlighting modern sightseeing agriculture is emerging!
